KPA Annual Meeting Summit on Prematurity:
The 2008 Kentucky Perinatal Association Annual Meeting: Summit on Prematurity
will be held on Monday, June 2 nd, and Tuesday, June 3 rd at the General Butler State Park in Carrolton, Kentucky. All meeting attendees are encouraged to register on Sunday, June 1st and are invited to dinner.
On January 17th, the KPA board met in Frankfort to continue planning for our Annual meeting in June. Topics related to GPC-6, centering & substance abuse, regionalization, healthy babies are worth the wait, follow-up for the public health nurse, prematurity prevention in Kentucky, and more will make up the majority of presentations. As plans are finalized, the topics and speakers will be listed on the Education page.
For only $50.00, attendees receive free CEU’S/CME’S for each conference day, registration, and meals at the KPA Annual Meeting. Please note that meals are for meeting attendees only. Guest of attendees are required to purchase their own meals.
This $50 fee also includes a membership to KPA. Benefits of membership include discounted registration fees at selected statewide conferences, quarterly newsletters, networking with others interested in perinatal health from across the state, opportunity to help improve perinatal health in Kentucky, opportunity to advocate for women and children at the legislative level, and education and information sharing about current Perinatal issues.
